Whitney Museum Biennial - Nancy Mitford Writing Desk

Happy chance introduced us to the imaginative work of artist Paul P, currently on show at the Whitney Museum Biennial in New York. Inspired by the work and life of Nancy Mitford, Paul P's writing desk pays homage to the great lady and shows the influence of both E.W. Godwin's Table with Folding Shelves and Jean-Baptist Carpeaux's Bacchante with Lowered Eyes. 

The desk and other work by Paul P can be seen at the Whitney Museum, 945 Madison Avenue at 75th Street, New York, USA.
