Offering bespoke bookselling and a range of unique literary services, including private library building and monthly book subscriptions, Heywood Hill has customers in over 60 countries worldwide. Charlotte’s appointment allows Heywood Hill to offer a new standard of personal service to both long-standing and new customers in Hong Kong.
Nicky Dunne, chairman of Heywood Hill said, ‘Charlotte’s experience, sensibility and passion for books make her ideally suited to represent Heywood Hill in Hong Kong. After a distinguished career in publishing in London, we are delighted she is joining our team in Hong Kong at a very exciting time. Our little shop in London is a refuge for English-speaking readers and book-collectors around the world both in person and online. We are sure that many more Hong Kong residents – whether expatriates or those born and bred in the city – will enjoy a connection to a literary bookshop. We are no ordinary independent bookshop and we are constantly striving to be useful to our customers around the world and to design literary services that are enjoyable and relevant in the digital age.’
